experienced
Mechanical Trade Staff, including;
Mechanical Fitters, Pipe Fabricators and Pipe Fitters/Welders
, to join our team to meet the demands of our growing workload. This role is strictly site-based work, based in
Brisbane.

Responsibilities:
Maintenance work on:
Storage tanks (fixed and floating roofs)
Transfer pumps and metres
Pipeline systems
Isolation procedures (mechanical and energy)
Fitting & Welding of small & large bore pipe work
Complete and understand work packs (material and weld traceability)
Experience with bolt up & flange management
Be able to read isometric and engineering drawings
Able to work unsupervised and part of a team




Requirements & Tickets:
Trade Qualifications
Certificate III in Engineering (Boilermaker/Welder) or relevant Australian-recognised trade certificate
Basic fabrication and instrumentation experience
Safety & Compliance
Hazardous Area Awareness (Zone 0, 1, 2 or equivalent)
Permit to Work (PTW) systems
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Mechanical and energy isolation procedures
Strong commitment to safety with a zero-compromise approach
Licences & Mandatory Tickets
Current Driver's Licence
Current Work at Heights Certificate (Required)
Current Confined Space Entry Certificate (Required)
Construction White Card
Welding & Technical Skills
Ability to weld in accordance with AS**** and ASME XI standards
Must successfully pass multiple 6G Pipe Weld Tests (GTAW/SMAW) with 100% X-Ray quality requirements
GTAW (TIG) Welding
SMAW (Stick) Welding
FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
GMAW (STT) Welding
General structural fabrication
Personal Attributes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Solid work ethic
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong focus on workplace safety and compliance
Pre-Employment Requisites
Able to pass Drug and Alcohol Screening along with a Pre-Employment Medical
Must have legal rights to work in Australia
