Maintenance Fitter - Afternoon Shift - FMCG Experience Needed

Afternoon shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment
Diagnose faults in hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
Carry out mechanical fitting, repairs, and fabrication work as needed
Support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to ensure operational continuity
Qualifications & Experiences
Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner
FMCG Experience (highly regarded)
Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
Confident fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Able to work independently and within a team environment
Safety-focused with a commitment to quality
Forklift licence, boom lift (over 11m) and scissor lift tickets (highly regarded)
Working at Heights certification (highly regarded)
First Aid certificate (highly regarded)
Basic Rigging ticket (highly regarded)
