and the opportunity to become part of a collaborative manufacturing team.What You'll Be DoingSewing & Upholstery ProductionSew upholstery covers using commercial sewing equipment.Work from patterns and production specifications.Operate industrial sewing machinery including:Single needle machinesOverlock machinesBlind hem machinesMaintain high workmanship and quality standards.Production PlanningFollow production schedules and priorities.Ensure work is completed accurately and on time.Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.Stock & MaterialsAssist with fabric stock control and inventory management.Ensure efficient use of materials and minimise waste.Team SupportAssist with other production-related tasks as required.Contribute positively to a safe, productive, and supportive team environment.Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 2 years' experience operating industrial sewing machines.Experience sewing fabrics in a commercial manufacturing environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valuable verbal and written English communication skills.High level of organisation and time management.Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.Highly RegardedUpholstery sewing experience.Experience within furniture manufacturing.Knowledge of health and safety practices within manufacturing environments.
