About the Role We are seeking a patient, empathetic, and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to a female participant in Truganina.
This is a unique prospect to build a meaningful connection with the same participant, providing consistent care in her home and community.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Personal Care: Assisting with daily hygiene, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Mealtime Support: Meal preparation and assistance with eating and drinking Community Access:



Supporting the participant to attend social outings, appointments, and community activities Household Tasks: Light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe, clean environment
Therapy Support: Providing full attention to the participant and therapist during physiotherapy and hand therapy sessions Documentation: Completing accurate shift notes and incident reports as required by NDIS Practice Standards Relationship Building: Providing emotional support and companionship
What We're Looking For

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
?
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
?
Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle (for community access)
?
Current Police Check
?
Working with Children Check (Employee)
?
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
?
A caring, patient, and respectful nature
Desirable: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services Experience supporting individuals with complex or challenging behaviours
Experience with manual handling and mobility aids
