Just imagine the impact you could make.The purpose of this roleAs part of our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, we're growing our network of Visa Medical Assessment Centres so we can provide a Bupa experience for our visa applicants in the communities where they live.
This has created a range of frontline and leadership roles in new purpose-built medical centres and opportunities to grow your career with a global health care brand where our customers are at the heart of everything we do.Experienced pathology collectors, with a minimum of 6 months experience in high volume venepuncture collections.
We have a full time and casual role on offer.
Shifts available on a rotational roster, with typical centre hours from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.
During peak seasons, we open 7am-7pm Monday to Friday and weekends from 8am to 4pm during peak seasonsThe casual position - this is a true casual role, shifts across a rotational roster, ideal availability: Mondays, Fridays and weekends where required (during peak seasons only)Casual role: hours increasing from September - Jan **** throughout peak periods & supporting leave coverageThe full-time 12-month fixed term contract - shifts across a rotational roster,
with occasional weekends (during peak seasons only), potential for permanency!
What you'll need to make it possibleReporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.The role includes:Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepunctureFacilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate serviceAdhere to clinical governance and associated policies and proceduresAccurate documentation of results in eHealth recordWhat you'll need to make it possibleCertificate III or IV in Pathology or2+ years' experience at a NATA accredited service providerFast paced phlebotomy experience essentialExperience working with people of multi-cultural backgroundWhy you'll love it?
