We are seeking a reliable and detail‐focused Despatch Hand to join our day shift team at our Braeside facility.This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering a quality product to customers and enjoys working as part of a busy team.Afternoon Shift - 2:00pm to 10:30pmABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Operations ManagerWorking closely with the Despatch Team LeaderPacking and preparing steel parts ready for shipmentOperating plate cleaning and finishing equipmentForklift operation and general despatch dutiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESPack, protect, and prepare steel parts to customer requirementsOperate plate cleaning equipment to ensure product qualityLoad and unload trucks using a forkliftIdentify, label,



and stage orders accurately for dispatchCoordinate daily priorities with the Despatch Team LeaderEnsure correct quantities, documentation, and presentation of goodsMaintain a clean, organised, and safe work areaFollow all WHS policies and proceduresABOUT YOUPrevious experience in despatch, warehousing, or manufacturing (preferred)Current forklift licence (required)Robust attention to detail and accuracyComfortable handling steel products and manual workAble to work effectively within a team environmentReliable, punctual, and safety‐focusedWilling to undergo drug & alcohol screening
