A calm and natural communicator withan ability to engage with other people of all levels with a non-judgemental and empowering manner.Position Overview24 hours per fortnight (Week 1: Monday and Wednesday | Week 2: Monday)The Enrolled Nurse plays an important role in supporting the strategic directions of Family Planning Australia.

ethnic or ethno-religious minority groups and people with disability.Family Planning Australia does not accept unsolicited agency resumes or applications and is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited agency resumes or applications.Desired Skills and ExperienceDiploma of nursing and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled NurseIf registered prior to ****, must also have completed the following unit of study Administer and Monitor Medicines and Intravenous Therapy HLTENN007 or equivalentMinimum 12 months experience in perioperative nursing and ability to provide intravenous medicationHigh knowledge and understanding of the principles of infection control, including aseptic techniqueDemonstrated ability to support clients and provide assistance to the proceduralist during reproductive and sexual health procedures provided under anaesthetic or sedationCurrent CPR certificateSound computer skills, including MS Office applicationsProven strong interpersonal, negotiation, written and oral communication skillsHigh level ability to manage competing demands and adapt effectively to changeDemonstrated ability to perform tasks under the direction of the clinician with minimal supervision, as well as within a broader teamMust have Australian working rightsExperience in providing services to relevant population groups, particularly people fromAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, CALD background, people with disability and/or young peopleExperience in reproductive and sexual health and/or abortion careOther requirementsA Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check are required prior to commencement
