This is a full-time, on-campus role where you will play a central part in shaping the academic experience of Bachelor of Social Work students — inspiring, mentoring, and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to make a real difference in their communities.What You'll DoDeliver engaging, high-quality lectures and tutorials to Bachelor of Social Work studentsDevelop and prepare comprehensive teaching materials for both on-campus and online learning environmentsFacilitate interactive, inclusive, and student-centred learning experiencesMonitor and support students' academic progress, providing timely and constructive feedbackContribute to curriculum design, course review, and ongoing educational innovationParticipate actively in scholarly activities, career development,



and the broader IHM academic communityDesired Skills and ExperienceWhat We're Looking ForMaster's degree in Social Work (essential)Demonstrated experience in teaching Social Work or a related discipline in higher educationProven ability to develop and deliver educational materials for both on-campus and online learning environmentsStrong skills in curriculum design, educational planning, and innovative teaching methodologiesProficiency with digital learning platforms and educational technologiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and engage students effectivelyCommitment to ongoing professional development and contribution to social work education scholarshipCurrent eligibility to work in Australia and willingness to work on-site in Melbourne, VICWhy Join IHM?
