Recruitment Operations Lead (12-month contract) at OptiverAbout the role Optiver is on the lookout for a Recruitment Operations Lead to refine and enhance our recruitment processes and operational effectiveness.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our recruitment strategy and optimizing various aspects of our hiring lifecycle.Key factsLocation: Sydney, AustraliaEngagement: 12-month contractTeam: Human Resources & RecruitingWhat you'll doCollaborate closely with recruitment leads across the APAC region and the Campus Talent Project team to synchronize hiring strategies and operational enhancements.Provide mentorship and direction to Recruitment Coordinators within our APAC offices, ensuring uniformity and continuous improvement in recruitment methodologies.Partner with global recruitment operations teams to execute regional and international initiatives, pinpointing areas for alignment and collaboration.Improve daily recruitment functions by refining processes and leveraging technologies that bolster our talent acquisition strategy.Work alongside the People Analytics team to optimize workflows and promote data-informed decision-making.Address operational challenges, manage escalations, and maintain high standards throughout the recruitment process.Investigate opportunities for automation and digital solutions to accelerate recruitment efforts.Collaborate with teams in Europe and the US to integrate new tools and technologies that enhance the recruitment cycle.Prioritize scalable projects in conjunction with APAC Recruitment leads that align with strategic goals.Ensure that recruitment operations align with broader organizational objectives by engaging closely with leadership in the People function.Work together with HR and other internal departments to facilitate a seamless transition from recruitment to onboarding.Oversee compliance and risk management practices in recruitment, collaborating with the Operational Risk Management team.Conduct regular audits of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accuracy and user satisfaction.Maintain comprehensive documentation that supports recruitment processes and boosts team efficiency.Train recruitment team members and stakeholders on new tools and processes, acting as the primary contact for support and troubleshooting.RequirementsA Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment or HR operations.Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, specifically Greenhouse, and other recruitment technologies is essential.Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and technologies is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences, are crucial.Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, with a focus on resolving operational challenges effectively.A proven history of driving process improvements and cultivating a culture of continuous enhancement is important.Strong analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail and critical thinking skills are required.Experience in managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment is essential.Nice to haveExperience in a fast-paced financial services or trading environment.Knowledge of advanced data analytics and reporting tools.Familiarity with diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment.Previous experience in a global recruitment role.Understanding of labor laws and compliance regulations in Australia.Skills & toolsProficient in Applicant Tracking Systems, particularly Greenhouse.Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.Familiarity with data analytics tools and recruitment technologies.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.Practical notesThis position is based in Sydney, Australia, and is offered as a 12-month contract.A competitive salary package will be provided, along with additional benefits.Optiver promotes a collaborative culture that encourages innovative thinking and problem-solving.The company offers daily meals, gym memberships, and opportunities for professional development.Regular social events and a company trip every two years are part of the work culture.At Optiver, we celebrate diverse perspectives and believe that great ideas can emerge from anyone.
