About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and finance operations while supporting accurate reporting, payroll, compliance, and cash flow management across the business.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Completing bookkeeping, account reconciliations and resolving financial discrepancies
Managing end-to-end accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices, customer payments, and expense processing
Processing payroll, superannuation, leave entitlements, and preparing/lodging payroll tax obligationsPreparing monthly management accounts, financial reports,
and month-end statements, including commentary on financial performance
Assisting with BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement, cash flow projections, budgeting, and financial forecasting
Liaising with clients, accountants, and the ATO, onboarding new employees, setting up MYOB files, and providing finance support to staff
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper, or similar
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Experience processing payroll, preparing reconciliations and financial reports
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proactive problem-solving skills and sound judgement
Experience using Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Office
