Maintenance Fitter / Facilities Technician - Food Manufacturing SiteWe are seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join the team at a well-established global food manufacturing organisation in Clayton.This is a hands‐on role responsible for operating and monitoring the site's Trade Waste Treatment Plant while ensuring environmental compliance and the reliable operation of site utilities and infrastructure.
The position will also support the maintenance of site facilities, plant and equipment across the manufacturing operation, carrying out preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns to ensure production runs safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor the Trade Waste Treatment PlantConduct daily testing, monitoring and compliance checksOversee and support site utilities, including boilers, compressors,



chillers and HVACCoordinate contractors and oversee safe work practicesAssist with manufacturing maintenance and breakdown responseAbout YouTrade qualification (Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter, highly regarded)Experience in wastewater, utilities, facilities and/or manufacturing maintenanceExposure to HVAC, boilers, compressors or industrial plantExperience in preventative and breakdown maintenance within food, beverage or process manufacturing is highly regardedThe OpportunityPermanent full‐time role$52 - $55 per hour + Super + OvertimeJoin a globally recognised manufacturer with solid safety and maintenance systems
