We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at Kings Park.
Reporting to theQuality Services Manager, this autonomous role will see you working closely with our manufacturing operations at Kings Park.
You will play a key role in driving quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities across the site, ensuring our products and processes meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities




Contribution to the maintenance of a compliant quality assurance system and processes for the manufactured business areaEnsuring successful external certifications are maintained as required by the businessWork with the commercial and operational teams to ensure all quality requirements are met for products supplied in the business areaLiaison with regulators and other key influences relevant to the manufactured business where requiredMonitoring literature, legislation, standards and other relevant information and communication of relevant changes and other information to the businessPerform audits and inspections as required by the quality systemLead the resolution of quality incidents and quality customer complaints within the manufactured business areaSupport and build a food safety cultureMaintain compliance to QMS, HACCP and food safety documentationMonthly reportingPerform back up Quality Chemist responsibilities
Who are we looking for?
Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred3 plus years in the food industry in a quality assurance roleProven ability to juggle competitive timelines and prioritiesAbility to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and work as part of a team while also working autonomouslyInternal and external audit experienceQuality Chemist experience and experience as HACCP Team Leader are preferredSafety experience is desirable but not essentialAbility to work across a matrix organisationUnderstanding of Australian and international legislation and standards
