It is a proud milestone for the company, and we acknowledge all those who have worked hard over the years and contributed to our success.Position Summary:The CNC Programmer is responsible for programming CNC machinery to produce high-quality cabinets in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
The CNC Programmer will work closely with design and production teams to optimize machining processes, improve efficiency, and ensure that all products meet quality standards.
Additionally, they will be responsible for troubleshooting machine issues, maintaining programming accuracy, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:CNC ProgrammingDevelop CNC Programs: Write and modify CNC programs for various cabinet components based on design specifications, ensuring accuracy and optimal machine performanceMaintain Data: in system for part limits, label details and routingsMaintain Program Accuracy:
Ensure all programs are regularly checked and updated for precision, adjusting as needed to maintain consistency across high-volume productionCross Functional CollaborationReview Design Specifications: Collaborate with the design team to understand cabinet designs, ensuring CNC programs align with technical requirements and production capabilitiesProvide Manufacturing Input: Offer insights on the manufacturability of designs, suggesting modifications to optimize production efficiency and machine useTroubleshoot Production Issues: Address any design or production issues that arise during the machining process, test parts on machine, collaborating with production teams to find solutionsEnsure Consistent Quality: Monitor the quality of output during production, providing feedback to design and production teams to maintain high standards across all cabinet componentsQuality & Continuous ImprovementLead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, fostering a culture of ongoing development and efficiency in the production environmentQualifications:Experience programming CNC machine in a manufacturing workplace is desired,Or/And: Tertiary qualification preferably in one of the following field areas: Engineering (Civil, Mechanical), ArchitectureOr/And Qualified Cabinet Maker or similar vocation in building industrySkills:CNC ProgrammingACAD: High level AutoCAD experienceTroubleshooting and Problem SolvingProcess Optimization and Continuous Improvement
