Qualified Electrical Fitter C10 and Factory HandsDNN Pty Ltd is a well-established Carrum Downs-based manufacturer of electrical switchboards supplying electrical wholesalers throughout Australia.We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter / Switchboard Builder and general experienced Factory Hands to join our growing workshop team.This is a factory-based role in a clean and organised manufacturing environment — not domestic house wiring or construction site work.About the RoleYou will be involved in the assembly and wiring of custom-built electrical switchboards from engineering drawings and schematics and assisting other electrical fitters.Duties include:Assembly and wiring of electrical switchboardsReading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematicsMounting components and cable managementBusbar assembly and fittingTesting and fault findingMaintaining quality workmanship and workshop standardsWorking safely within company proceduresAbout YouTo be successful in this role you will ideally have:at least 3 years of experience in switchboard manufacturing or industrial control panel wiringAbility to read electrical schematics independentlyStrong attention to detailGood communication and teamwork skillsReliable attendance and work ethicAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentCandidates must have valid Australian work rightsApplicants must hold either an Electrical Fitter Certificate III or an A Grade Electrical Licence, with experience working with electrical switchboards.What We OfferStable full time employmentAbove award wages based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesEarly Friday finishSupportive team environmentLong-term career opportunityImmediate start availableStandard hours:Monday – Thursday: 6:30am – 3:15pmFriday: 6:30am – 11:30amPay rate negotiable based on experience and capability.If you are an experienced switchboard builder looking for a stable long-term role in Melbourne, we would like to hear from you.
