We're seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join a purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation on a part-time basis (3 days per week - Monday to Wednesday).
This is an ongoing temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of finance administration and stakeholder engagement.
While invoice volumes are relatively low, the role involves regular communication with suppliers, staff and other stakeholders via phone and email, making solid customer service skills essential.The RoleKey responsibilities may include (but not limited to)
the following:Processing supplier invoices and paymentsManaging the accounts payable inboxResponding to supplier and stakeholder enquiriesReconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepanciesFollowing up invoice approvalsSupporting month-end and general finance administration activitiesAnswering finance-related phone and email enquiriesThe PersonPrevious Accounts Payable experienceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and manage prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous but not essential.Working ArrangementMonday: Work from Home (optional)Tuesday & Wednesday: Office-based (9:00am – 5:00pm)Thursday & Friday: Off / non-working daysThis is non-negotiable and office is based in Richmond/Abbotsford area.
There is free onsite parking available for staff members, or if reaching the office by PT, the 109 tram route is best.
