Are you an experienced business leader looking for a role where your work will make a genuine difference?
Mutitjulu Community Aboriginal Corporation (MCAC) is seeking a Business Manager to lead the operations of Walkatjara Arts, a community-owned Aboriginal art centre located in the heart of the World Heritage-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuṯa National Park.
This is a unique opportunity to combine strong business management with meaningful community impact.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of Walkatjara Arts, ensuring the business is financially sustainable, well governed and positioned for future growth while supporting Aṉangu artists and protecting Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) and copyright.
We're looking for a proactive leader with excellent administration, governance and financial management skills who can build strong systems, secure grant funding, develop partnerships and lead a small team.
A key part of this role is ensuring that artist agreements, copyright, licensing and Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) are appropriately managed and protected, preserving the cultural integrity of Aṉangu artworks and knowledge.
Experience in the Aboriginal arts sector, Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP), copyright management or arts administration will be highly regarded.

Salary: $100,000 per annum (negotiable based on skills and experience) plus superannuation.

Pre-Employment Requirements
The successful applicant will be required to:
Hold a current unrestricted C Class Driver Licence.
If relocating from interstate, obtain a Northern Territory Driver Licence when they have moved into their property, in accordance with MCAC policy.
Employees are not permitted to drive MCAC vehicles until an NT Driver Licence has been obtained.
Hold or be able to obtain a current Northern Territory Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
Hold or be able to obtain a National Police Check satisfactory to MCAC.
Hold or be willing to obtain an Advanced or Remote Area First Aid Certificate.
Have the legal right to work in Australia.
