The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse (Mental Health - Community Clozapine Service) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Deliver clinical services within an integrated mental health service environment with a multidisciplinary team
Apply professional knowledge and skills in clinical decision making
Contribute to the clinical education of students and other less experienced staff
Establish and maintain partnerships with consumers and their family/carers in cooperation with other care providers
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
Be credentialed through the College of Mental Health Nurses (or be prepared to work towards a credential in Mental Health Nursing)
A graduate certificate or greater within a relevant specialty area is highly desirable
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $113,979 - $122,048 per annum

The Continuing Care Community (CCC) service line provides community based mental health care to consumers across the Gold Coast with adjunct specialist programs.
The Clozapine Service operates as a single work unit providing four pathways of care including GP Shared Care Arrangement, GP Shared Care Clinic, Nurse Led Clinic and Care Management.
