About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity to
contribute to procurement and contract management activities across
the City, working closely with internal teams to deliver
transparent and effective outcomes.
In this role, you will prepare
procurement documentation including requests for quotation and
tender, support pre-award contract processes including sourcing,
evaluation panels and recommendation reports, provide advice on
post-award contract matters, contribute to the review and
improvement of procurement policies and procedures, and provide
practical guidance to support operational areas with general
procurement matters.
This is a permanent full-time
position.
About You
To be successful in this
role you will have a valuable understanding of the regulatory
framework for procurement within a local or state government
context.
Taking a flexible and adaptable approach, you will be able
to respond to the needs of your internal clients and work
collaboratively to achieve the best outcome for the City.
With good
time management skills, you will have the ability to work
autonomously.
Proficiency with the cloud based e-procurement
platform Open Windows or similar, as well as VendorPanel or
TenderLink would also be highly regarded.
