The Opportunity
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Jindera Hostel in our Riverina Murray Region.A great opportunity exists, with availability required on weekends, for someone to perform cooking and kitchen duties.
We are seeking people to provide a high standard of quality care to facility residents, by providing and maintaining a high standard of cooking and food service within the facility.
What you will bring to the role:
Experienced in planning, preparation and cooking fresh mealsExperience in table service and clearing dutiesExperience in working in a fast-paced kitchen and or bulk food preparation – desirableKnowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP levelKnowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP levelExperience in Aged Care desirableTeam player who is highly motivatedAvailability to work various shifts across various days
