The General Medical ward comprises 30 beds, including a Close Observation unit for patients requiring a higher level of care
Medical services are provided by ward based doctors and VMO's including local General Practitioners who have admitting rights
Patients with private health insurance are able to select any available Doctor with admmitting rights to look after them. A General Physician and a Gerontologist provide services in the general ward as well, along with a range of allied health services

Career Medical Officer required for inpatient unit shifts at a Coastal NSW Hospital from August to November ****.

Sunday, 18 October *******:*******:00 (Day Shift)
Saturday, 31 October *******:*******:00 (Day Shift)
Sunday, 1 November *******:*******:00 (Day Shift)

General Medicine experience required. Days are working alongside RMO and Consultant. Evenings are solo in-charge. May be required to be on call overnight for wards (Inpatients/Rehab) if unable to cover ED nights. Will be advised upon booking. Remunerated 1 hour for being on call at booked rate. Reimbursed if called into the department.
