Clinical Midwife – MGP / Core Midwife | Far North Queensland
I'm recruiting experienced Clinical Midwives (CM) and Midwives (MGP/Core) for multiple contracts across Thursday Island, Weipa, and Cooktown.
Multiple Contract Dates Available (August–November ****)
Locations Available:
Thursday Island – CM Core & MGP
Weipa – CM MGP & MGP
Cooktown – CM MGP, MGP & Clinical Nurse – Maternal & Child Health
I'll sort the below:
Travel arranged
Accommodation provided
Support before, during and after your contract
Opportunities in communities where your work has a genuine impact
Essential Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in MGP/Core Midwifery
Advanced Life Support (ALS)
FSEP
CTG competency
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation
MEP Advanced (or equivalent)
Recent birthing experience
Highly Desirable
Epidural competency
Willingness to participate in portfolio and audit management as a senior staff member
