This has resulted in the creation of a highly modular and scalable product suite, which have become integral to a wide range of critical Defence capabilities.The PositionResponsible for assuring consistent production quality of the Melbourne Production area and inspection of outsourced / in-house mechanical items.Key responsibilities:Operating within CEA's quality standards in the Production area.Ensure Quality Management System Obligations are met and ensure the development and maintenance of a strong quality culture to meet and exceed customer requirements.Creating In process Inspection Plans (IPC) for Mechanical items produced in-house.Conduct inspection of Mechanical items checking conformity against drawings and Models.Conduct first off and periodic inspections of Mechanical items and uploading results to work order.Review and escape non-conformance reports and concessions.Packaging and dispatching of goods produced in-house.Provide value adding to machined parts which includes Metal Finishing.Loading Horizontal and Vertical Machine centres.Operate Co-ordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
