Based in Fawkner, Navy Strength Ice Co. is Australia's first hand-cut ice company, specifically designed for bars, restaurants, catering companies, events, sculptors and speciality roasters.Utilising internationally regarded block makers and purified water, we produce giant coffins of ice that are then hand-cut using various tools to produce crystal clear blocks and shapes of various sizes.The size and density of our ice means that it chills quick and melts slowly, making it an essential ingredient in any cocktail or mixed drink, ensuring that the last sip is as good as the first.About You :2+ years management experienceExperience working in Hospitality and/or FMCG industries, particularly within a production / warehousing environment (desirable)Relevant trade or technical background (desirable)Forklift licence or machinery experience (desirable)Professional DevelopmentWillingness to participate in ongoing training related to leadership, safety, food handling, systems and operational improvementPosition Summary :The Production Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating all ice production operations at Navy Strength Ice Co.
This role provides leadership, planning and accountability across production, quality, safety and workforce performance.
The Production Lead ensures production targets are met, quality standards are consistently achieved, WHS requirements are enforced and Production Supervisors are supported to lead effectively on the floor.
