This casual role is based at HMAS Cerberus, Crib Point VIC.
The role could be rostered up to 25 hours per week.You will be paid at $***** per hour which is the new rate for a Level 1 under the Fast Food Industry Award.In this role, you will be responsible for:Consistently creating excellent customer experiencesFilling short order cooking ordersManaging the safety and hygiene of your work site and the food you are handlingResponding to customer queries, requests and concernsABOUT YOUYou are someone who gets the job done and you enjoy working in a fast paced, customer focused food and beverage outlet delivering great customer service,



again and again.You understand how this type of business operates and can quickly learn the ropes.
You can also recognise how to improve your day to day performance to the benefit of customers and the business.You are calm and confident under pressure and also know how to have fun and enjoy the work you do.
You relate well to others and can work effectively in a team or independently.To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:Previous experiences working in a high volume café, restaurant or fast food outletA minimum of 1 year experience in a similar roleHighly developed face to face customer service and communication skillsBarista, cooking and sandwich hand experienceExcellent working knowledge of food handling & hygiene standards, preferably with a current Food Safety CertificateExperience in the use of POS, EFTPOS and cash handlingReliability and ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently and remotelyA high standard of grooming and presentation as this is a front of house roleAbility to work early mornings, nights and weekends - this is a must!
Due to security requirements, the successful candidate will need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and undergo a Police Check, which we will pay for.
