Atlast The Waste Network is seeking a trade-qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator Welder to join All In Equipment Services, our dedicated Engineering & Fabrication Division, based at our Tottenham site.This is a varied, hands-on role working across the fabrication, modification and repair of bins, compactors, specialised waste assets and fleet equipment.We are looking for a capable tradesperson who takes ownership of their work, values safety and takes genuine pride in producing reliable, high-quality outcomes.Full-time permanent positionBased in Tottenham, Melbourne VICMonday to FridayStandard hours: 6:00 am to 2:06 pmAbout UsAtlast The Waste Network is a proudly Australian family-owned waste management and resource recovery business servicing commercial, industrial and construction customers throughout Victoria.As our business continues to grow, we are investing in our people, fleet, equipment and internal engineering capability.All In Equipment Services is the Engineering & Fabrication Division of Atlast The Waste Network.
The division supports the broader Atlast operation through the fabrication, modification, maintenance and repair of bins, compactors, specialised waste assets and fleet equipment.When you join Atlast, you are joining a growing business that values hard work, rewards commitment and provides genuine opportunities for long-term career development.The RoleBased at our Tottenham site, you will undertake a broad range of fabrication, modification and repair work within our Engineering & Fabrication Division.Your work will support our waste equipment, fleet workshop and operational teams, providing genuine variety across both new fabrication and repair projects.The role includes:Fabrication of waste and recycling binsModification and repair of existing binsFabrication,



modification and repair of compactorsRepairs to specialised waste assets and equipmentFleet welding repairs requested by the workshopGeneral fabrication and welding work as directedSupporting workshop priorities and operational requirementsStandard Working HoursThis is a full-time permanent position working:Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:06 pmApplicants must be available to consistently work these standard hours.Overtime may also be available depending on operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesFabricate, modify and repair bins, compactors and specialised waste equipmentCarry out welding repairs across fleet and workshop assetsMeasure, mark, cut, prepare, weld and assemble steel componentsRead and interpret drawings, specifications and job requirementsComplete fabrication work accurately and to the required standardIdentify damaged components and determine appropriate repair methodsSupport new-build, modification and maintenance projectsMaintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detailKeep work areas, tools and equipment clean, organised and serviceableFollow all company safety procedures and safe work practicesWork collaboratively with workshop, engineering and operational personnelComplete assigned work within required timeframesWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly rate based on skills and experienceOvertime opportunities where availableStable, full-time permanent employmentConsistent Monday-to-Friday hoursStandard hours of 6:00 am to 2:06 pmVaried fabrication, repair and modification workUniforms and essential PPE providedSupportive leadership and team environmentOpportunity to work across a diverse range of equipment and projectsLong-term opportunity within a growing Australian-owned businessFamily-owned culture where employees are recognised and valuedWhat We're Looking ForEssentialTrade qualification in Engineering Fabrication,



Boilermaking or a closely related fieldDemonstrated fabrication and welding experienceExperience cutting, preparing, fitting, welding and assembling steel componentsAbility to read and interpret drawings, measurements and job specificationsStrong understanding of workshop safety requirementsAbility to work accurately with limited supervisionReliable attendance and a strong work ethicGood communication and teamwork skillsPride in workmanship and workshop presentationFull Australian working rightsHighly RegardedExperience fabricating or repairing bins and compactorsExperience with heavy steel fabricationExperience with waste, transport or resource recovery equipmentHeavy vehicle or fleet workshop experienceExposure to hydraulic or mechanical equipment repairsAbility to undertake both new fabrication and repair workCurrent Australian driver's licenceForklift licenceSafety & ComplianceSafety is fundamental to everything we do.Successful applicants must be willing to:Follow all company safety procedures and policiesUse required personal protective equipmentParticipate in random drug and alcohol testingUndertake a pre-employment medical assessment where requiredReport hazards, defects and unsafe conditionsMaintain a strong commitment to safe work practices at all timesWhy Join Atlast?
