Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Lead Educator to join our team in providing a safe and stimulating environment which meets the social, cultural, emotional, educational and physical needs of the children and encourages parent and community participation.About the RoleThis is a Permanent part time opportunity across 5 days, Monday to Friday based in the Toddler room.As the Lead Educator, you will play a key role in creating a warm, engaging, and stimulating environment where toddlers can thrive.
You will lead curriculum planning, mentor fellow educators within your room, and build strong relationships with children and families while ensuring high-quality educational outcomes.This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about supporting children's development during these important early years and enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.About the CentreAt Journey Early Learning Essendon, we embrace each child's individuality, creating a safe and supportive environment where they can truly belong, learn, and grow.

You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with Educators, children, and families.Key skills and requirements:Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)Previous experience as a Lead EducatorSound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality StandardsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsPassion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and careCurrent Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)Join us at Journey Early Learning...where it all begins.At Journey Early Learning, the safety and well-being of every child is our top priority.
