Up to five full-time Sales Assistants are needed for Ashmar Nominees Pty Ltd trading as Kununurra Mitre 10, located at Kununurra, Western Australia.
Salary $71,550 to $75,000 per year, commensurate with skills, licences and experience.
As part of our dedicated team you will report to the retail supervisors and business owners to provide sales support to our customers across a range of retail product categories.
You will be responsible for the below duties:
- assisting customers by providing product advice (sizes, price, delivery, returns policy, product use).
- demonstrating, stacking and displaying sales items.
- preparing sales invoices in relevant POS system.
- accepting payment for goods by a variety of payment methods.
- assisting with stock management by updating product inventories and participating in stocktake activities.
- wrapping and packing sold items.
- complying with WHS procedures.
- other general store duties; including store cleanliness, all whilst maintaining a welcoming, friendly and obliging customer service.
Requirements
- Certificate I in retail and one year of work experience (minimum 20 hours per week),



or one year of full-time experience as a Sales Assistant.
- Secondary education or higher.
- Drivers Licence.
- Basic computer skills for POS system.
- Excellent verbal communication.
- Able to work full time in Kununurra, Western Australia.
- Willing to undertake police and medical clearances if requested.

Kununurra is a remote area with an extreme climate.
