The Green Road Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Finance team.
In this role, you will play a key part in various financial functions.
The primary tasks will involve the accurate and timely processing of creditor invoices, supporting project staff with invoicing, and working closely with senior finance staff to assist with inter-entity transactions and payroll support.
This is a Permanent Part-Time position, with a minimum 0.6 FTE required.
Flexible arrangements, including part-day schedules, may be considered for the right candidate.
Initially, a minimum of 24 hours per week will be guaranteed in the role.
This may be raised on an ad-hoc basis, dependent on workload.

About the role
To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience in accounts payable and confidence working across financial systems and databases.
Experience with automated accounts payable platform Xero, is essential.
Reporting to the Management Accountant,
you will support the day-to-day operations of the Finance function within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy, appropriate authorisation, and timely payment
Monitor and reconcile corporate credit card transactions, resolving discrepancies as required
Assist with month-end inter-entity transactions and invoicing as required
Manage supplier and customer enquiries in a professional, timely, and customer-focused manner
Process periodic payroll for all staff, ensuring accuracy whilst ensuring we are compliant with associated payroll legislations.
Demonstrate robust proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Apply exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills in all tasks
About you
Proficient in Xero
5 + years experience in a financial environment.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Willingness to step outside the square and adopt a 'big picture' approach
