The Opportunity
Due to continued growth in our Remanufacturing (Component Rebuild) division, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated Workshop Fitter to join our team.
In this role, you will overhaul a variety of major mining equipment components to OEM specifications, delivering high-quality results in a professional and timely manner.
Based at our Forrestdale branch, your responsibilities will include:
Performing major component overhauls across a wide range of equipment
Completing all tasks safely and in accordance with company procedures
Accurate completion and submission of all required paperwork and reports
Maintaining a clean, organised workspace aligned with our 5S standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A relevant mechanical trade qualification
A strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
High Risk Work licences (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc.) – highly regarded
A commitment to safety with a solid understanding of WHS principles
Good communication skills and a strong focus on delivering OEM-quality work
