This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager, who wants a genuine seat at the table and the chance to influence the future direction of a rapidly growing Australian healthcare business.
Based in Perth and reporting directly to the CEO, you'll play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, driving performance, strengthening governance, and helping our business continue its growth journey.

The Opportunity
As Group Financial Controller, you'll oversee the financial operations of the HealthEx Group while partnering with leaders across the business to support growth, performance and sustainable success.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning
Providing commercial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
Monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
Delivering accurate and timely monthly financial reporting
Maintaining strong financial controls and governance frameworks
Overseeing cash flow, liquidity and working capital management
Managing taxation and financial compliance requirements




Maintaining appropriate insurance and risk protection strategies
Leading and developing a high-performing finance team

About You
CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
Significant Australian experience in relevant finance leadership roles
Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting functions
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
Advanced MS skills, including Excel, Power Query and Power BI.
Experience partnering with senior executives and presenting financial insights
A track record of developing high-performing teams
A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed
Most importantly, you'll be a collaborative leader who enjoys working with people
