About the role
The Supply Chain Coordinator assists in the day-to-day operations of Foodbank WA's supply chain by supporting order processing, inventory management, and stakeholder communication.
This role works closely with branches, schools, suppliers/donors, and the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and essential products.
Key responsibilities
Oversee inbound and outbound stock transfers, allocations, and receipting.
Coordinates outbound orders (including School Breakfast Program) to achieve on‐time, in‐full dispatch in line with service level expectations.
Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stock takes and regular cycle counts.
Stock variances are investigated and resolved promptly.
Stock rotation practices are followed, ensuring FIFO and minimising waste.
Provide administrative support to the Food Supply Manager and Logistics team.
Assist with procurement, supplier coordination, and documentation.
Support ERP and warehouse management system updates and reporting.
Liaise with internal teams (Branches, SBP)



and external partners to ensure orders are fulfilled in line with available stock while best meeting their needs and requests.
Resolving supply chain issues with clear, concise and helpful communication.
Facilitate and document online and in-person meetings.
Assist with freight bookings and purchase orders.
Assist with donor engagement logistics and community event coordination.
Supports the warehouse and supply chain teams during peak periods.
Works cooperatively with volunteers, corporate groups and staff in day-to-day operations.
Essential Criteria:
Experience in supply chain, warehousing, or logistics coordination/administration
Working knowledge of inventory control and stock management principles
Confidence using ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety
Desirable Criteria:
Tertiary qualification Supply Chain and Logistics.
Previous experience in Warehouse Operations.
Previous experience in a not-for-profit or food distribution environment.
Forklift licence.
Familiarity with warehouse management and ERP systems.

Must be an Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident or holding a valid visa with permission to work in Australia.
