Role OverviewThe Manager – Infrastructure and Site Services is responsible for the safe, reliable, compliant and cost-effective delivery of non-process infrastructure and essential site services across Cyprium Metals' Nifty Copper Complex.
The role leads site facilities, accommodation and village services, aerodrome operations, roads, buildings, water and wastewater systems, utilities, waste management, transport services and supporting infrastructure required for mining and processing operations.
Working within a lean owner's team, the role manages internal personnel, contractors and service providers to ensure infrastructure and services are planned, maintained and delivered safely, efficiently and within budget.
The position is integral to supporting the transition from restart and ramp-up into stable operations while preparing the site for future growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Site Services Leadership
Lead the planning and delivery of infrastructure and site services across the operation.
Align services with operational priorities and workforce requirements.
Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Safety, People and Commercial teams.
Ensure continuity of critical services and appropriate contingency planning.
Provide visible leadership across employees and contractors.
Site Facilities & Infrastructure
Manage the condition and performance of buildings, workshops, roads and supporting infrastructure.
Ensure inspections, maintenance and lifecycle planning are completed.
Identify infrastructure risks, defects and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate maintenance priorities and maintain compliance records.
Utilities, Water & Waste
Oversee potable water, wastewater, sewerage, waste management and site utilities.
Monitor reliability, contractor performance and statutory compliance.
Develop contingency plans and drive service improvements.
Village & Workforce Services
Oversee accommodation, catering, cleaning, laundry and village maintenance.
Ensure safe, high-quality facilities for employees, contractors and visitors.
Manage accommodation capacity and contractor performance.
Support workforce wellbeing and future site growth.
Aerodrome, Transport & Access
Oversee aerodrome operations through the appointed Aerodrome Manager.
Manage aviation and transport service providers.
Ensure roads, access routes and transport services meet operational and safety requirements.
Support emergency response and business continuity planning.
6. Contractor Management
Manage contractors delivering infrastructure and site services.
Develop service scopes, KPIs and performance expectations.
Monitor safety, cost, quality and contractual compliance.
Work with Commercial and Procurement on contracts and service improvements.
Planning & Operational Readiness
Contribute to budgets, workforce planning and infrastructure strategies.
Support operational readiness, project handovers and future infrastructure planning.
Ensure assets are fully operational before handover.
8. Safety, Risk & Compliance
Promote a strong safety culture across all infrastructure activities.
Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental and site requirements.
Participate in audits, investigations and risk management.
Maintain licences, permits and compliance records.
Budget & Continuous Improvement
Manage budgets, forecasts and contractor expenditure.
Report on service performance and infrastructure risks.
Drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability and cost effectiveness.
Leadership
Lead, coach and develop the Infrastructure and Site Services team.
Build capability and transparent accountability across employees and contractors.
Foster a collaborative, service-focused culture within a lean operating environment.
