Every day, the Royal Flying Doctor Service Western Australia (RFDS WA) connects people, places and healthcare across some of Australia's most remote regions.
Operating across one of the world's largest aeromedical jurisdictions, we deliver emergency aeromedical retrievals, inter-hospital transfers and primary healthcare services where they are needed most.

We are now inviting applications for our November **** Ground School intake.
Your journey will begin at our Jandakot Base in Perth, where you will complete Ground School and initial training.
During this period, fully funded accommodation and access to a company vehicle will be provided, allowing you to focus on developing the skills required to succeed in one of Australia's most unique operational flying environments.
Following successful completion of training, you'll transition into line operations within our regional network, undertaking an initial posting in Port Hedland or Kalgoorlie.
Here, you'll gain valuable operational experience while supporting aeromedical and primary healthcare services across regional and remote Western Australia.

About the RoleAs a PC-12 Line Pilot, you'll work alongside experienced aviation and medical professionals supporting critical healthcare operations throughout Western Australia.
Your flying will include:Emergency aeromedical retrievalsInter-hospital patient transfersPrimary healthcare operationsRemote and regional flying across vast and diverse operating environments

Working within a solid safety and governance framework, you'll collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, engineers and operational staff to deliver safe, reliable and compassionate aeromedical services.
This role offers exceptional operational variety and responsibility, providing exposure to advanced IFR operations, remote-area flying and complex decision-making in a unique aviation environment.

About YouYou are a professional, safety-focused pilot with strong judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to perform effectively in dynamic operational environments.
