The Role
We're seeking a Direct Sales Account Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team.
This customer-focused role is responsible for driving sales growth and customer engagement through proactive telephone-based account management across an assigned territory.
Working with existing customers and prospective salon partners, you'll identify sales opportunities, build strong customer relationships, promote Haircare Group brands, and deliver exceptional service that supports customer success and long-term loyalty.
You will play a key role in growing market presence, achieving sales targets, supporting product launches, and helping customers maximise the value of our leading professional haircare brands.

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales KPIs and contribute to territory growth objectives
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, research, and cold calling
Develop and execute plans to grow existing customer accounts and increase sales revenue
Build strong customer relationships through regular phone, email, and virtual engagement
Promote Haircare Group brands and products to increase customer awareness and market presence




Deliver exceptional customer service and support across your assigned territory
Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Support product launches through customer education, presentations, and demonstrations
Maintain accurate customer records, communications, and account information within company systems
Monitor customer activity and identify opportunities for retention and growth
Prepare sales activity reports and provide updates to management
Follow up customer account matters, including payment enquiries where required
Collaborate with internal departments to deliver positive customer outcomes
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in sales, account management, telesales, or customer relationship management
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Strong sales, negotiation, and influencing skills with a track record of achieving targets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven approach
Strong customer service mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Qualified Hairdresser preferred, with knowledge of professional haircare products highly regarded
Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude
