About Growth and Change PBSGrowth and Change PBS is a values-driven registered NDIS provider specialising in Positive Behaviour Support.
We are expanding our national practitioner network and are seeking experienced, independent Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners who would like to manage their own practice while delivering services through an established registered NDIS provider.
This contractor model is designed for practitioners seeking flexibility and professional independence, supported by established governance, quality, clinical supervision and compliance systems.
About the Contractor OpportunityAs an independent contractor with Growth and Change PBS, you will:
Operate your own independent business
Develop and manage your own referral network and caseload
Determine your availability and preferred service locations
Deliver Positive Behaviour Support services through Growth and Change PBS as the registered NDIS provider
Use approved Behaviour Support Plan templates and documentation systems
Work in accordance with the NDIS Code of Conduct, NDIS Practice Standards and Growth and Change PBS policies and procedures
Contractors may also provide services to other organisations, subject to confidentiality, conflict-of-interest and contractual requirements.

Your ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:
Managing your own business operations, availability and referrals
Maintaining an active ABN and appropriate professional and public liability insurance
Managing your caseload, appointments and service delivery
Completing functional behaviour assessments, interim and comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans, progress reports and other required documentation
Maintaining accurate, timely and confidential participant records
Participating in clinical supervision, professional development, audits and quality reviews
Working within your assessed capability level, qualifications, knowledge and experience
Meeting applicable NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements
About YouTo be considered, you will ideally have:
Current suitability as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner at the Proficient or Advanced capability level
Demonstrated experience supporting people with complex support needs and behaviours of concern
Strong functional behaviour assessment, analysis and report-writing skills
A trauma-informed, rights-based and person-centred approach
Sound skilled judgement and the ability to work independently
A commitment to reducing and eliminating restrictive practices
Strong communication, stakeholder-engagement and time-management skills
An active ABN, or the willingness and ability to establish one
Appropriate professional and public liability insurance, or the willingness to obtain it
An existing referral network or the capacity to develop referrals
Willingness to participate in supervision, professional development and quality assurance processes
Required Checks and DocumentationSuccessful applicants will be required to provide or obtain:
Evidence of NDIS Commission practitioner suitability and capability level
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check or equivalent, where required
National Police Check, where required by organisational policy or the nature of the engagement
Evidence of relevant qualifications
Professional and public liability insurance
