About the RoleDiamond Vault is looking for an experienced and passionate Diamond & Jewellery Sales Consultant to join our team at our Runaway Bay showroom.
This is more than a traditional retail sales role.
As a manufacturing jeweller, we offer our clients the complete jewellery experience — from selecting the perfect piece from our collections to working alongside our on-site jewellers to bring a completely custom design to life.
You will be the face of Diamond Vault, delivering exceptional personalised service, building genuine relationships and guiding clients through some of life's most special purchases.
We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants for the right person.
What You'll Be Doing• Welcoming clients warmly and taking the time to understand their individual style, needs and budget
• Providing expert guidance on diamonds, gemstones, precious metals and jewellery design
• Showcasing our jewellery collections and confidently explaining the quality, craftsmanship and value of each piece
• Working closely with clients to create custom-made jewellery, including engagement rings, wedding rings, remodelling and one-of-a-kind pieces
• Guiding clients through the entire custom design process, from initial ideas and stone selection through to the finished piece
• Communicating jewellery customisation options clearly and confidently, including design, settings, metals, sizing and stone selection
• Building strong, long-term client relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals
• Following up with clients and maintaining relationships throughout their jewellery journey




• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assisting with stock management and inventory control
• Maintaining a beautiful, organised and visually appealing showroom
• Handling client enquiries and resolving any concerns professionally and promptly
What We're Looking For• Proven experience in sales, preferably within jewellery, luxury retail or another high-end customer service environment
• Knowledge of diamonds, including the 4Cs, gemstones and jewellery design
• A genuine passion for jewellery, design and creating memorable client experiences
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people
• Confidence guiding clients through custom-made jewellery and ring design
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to exceptional service
• The ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team
• Confidence using point-of-sale systems and retail technology
• A polished and professional presentation
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays when required
Previous jewellery experience is highly regarded; however,



we are also interested in hearing from exceptional salespeople who have a genuine passion for jewellery and are eager to develop their industry knowledge.
