An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Civil Designer / Senior Civil Design Engineer to join a growing engineering consultancy delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, subdivision and civil infrastructure projects.
This role is ideal for a technically strong civil designer who enjoys working across a variety of projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to innovative, practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.

The Opportunity
Working as part of an experienced civil team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality civil design solutions across a broad range of land development and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed civil design and documentation for:Earthworks and gradingRoadworks, access roads and car parksStormwater drainage systemsSewer and water reticulationResidential subdivisionsCommercial and residential developmentsCivil infrastructure projectsRetaining walls and utility/service alignmentsDeliver civil design modelling using 12D, including drainage analysis, road design, sewer, water and earthworks.Produce detailed AutoCAD documentation for development approvals, tender and construction.Interpret survey information,



engineering sketches and authority requirements to prepare coordinated design solutions.Work closely with engineers, project managers, architects and external consultants.Assist with design reviews, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.Mentor junior designers and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and documentation processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Minimum 6 years' experience in civil design and drafting.Advanced capability using 12D for civil design and drainage analysis.Strong AutoCAD drafting experience.Proven experience delivering road, drainage, sewer, water and earthworks design.Exposure to residential subdivisions, commercial developments and civil infrastructure projects.Civil 3D experience will be highly regarded.Strong understanding of Australian Standards, Austroads guidelines and local authority requirements.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering Design, Drafting, Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience are essential.
