Aquila Resources Pty Ltd is a Perth based company that is now in an exciting phase of growth and opportunity.
With an evolving portfolio of ongoing and upcoming Iron projects, we are seeking a driven Accountant to join our Finance team on a full time permanent basis, working in our CBD office on St Georges Terrace.
The Role
This role is responsible for providing professional support to a variety of operational functions including monthly management reporting and cost analysis, journal entries, month end closing.
Your role will consist of the following duties:
Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and Group financial statements (AUD & RMB) including management reports
Prepare and lodge monthly GST/BAS, payroll tax, and FBT returns.
Prepare monthly cash and investment reports, manage term deposit maturities, and upload treasury information.
Support internal/external audits and budgeting processes; prepare and upload year-end results.
Review and authorise payments, ensure timely processing, and oversee data entry and bank reconciliations across the Group.
Submit quarterly ABS surveys, assist with insurance renewals, review project tenement expenditure.

Essential Criteria
Bachelor of Accounting, Business or similar
Strong cost analysis knowledge
Right to work in Australia
Advanced excel skills
Previous Mining experience is desired
Fluent in English and Mandarin is desired
