Junior Administrative Assistant – BRI Ferrier WA
BRI Ferrier is part of a national affiliation with an office in every state specialising in insolvency and reconstruction work.
We are seeking to employ someone who is an excellent organiser and communicator with a proactive and friendly attitude.
As Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support, including but not limited to; data entry, photocopying and scanning, taking and transferring phone calls, record keeping and taking and actioning minutes at meetings.
At the same time, training will be provided to develop your skills to include basic bookkeeping and to enable you to assist with various case related matters.
We anticipate through on the job training that the role will evolve into a senior administrative position in the BRI's Personal Insolvency team.
Developed Skills
A proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Microsoft Excel.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
An ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement
Skills to be Developed
Undertaking a Bookkeeping course as required to achieve "BAS Certification"
Preparation of statutory documentation
Preparation of statutory returns
Developing skills to extract data from various software programs




Assistance in determining the application of various provisions of the Bankruptcy Act
Debt collection as required.
Processing of payments for relevant creditors
The role is diverse, and we are looking for a self-motivated individual with a desire to grow and allow the role to follow.
This is a position for a person with an excellent work ethic and someone who wishes to develop their skill set.
On the job training together with external courses where appropriate will be provided to ensure the development of the skills noted.
Those parties that possess the Developed Skills noted above, should be able to adapt those skills to the requirements of the role.
