Company description: Barminco has successfully tendered for the exciting Bellevue Gold Project located approximately 40km north-east of Leinster in Western Australia's Northern Goldfields region.
Job description: Barminco is looking for Heavy Diesel Fitters to join the team at the Bellevue Gold Project on a full-time basis on a 7/7 FIFO roster.
Your role is integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations.
You'll support the production team within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Roster: 7/7 FIFO ex Perth What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?
Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on our underground heavy mining equipment consisting of Sandvik drills, loaders and trucks as well as a range of Normets Diagnose faults and perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs Conduct inspections, servicing, and component change-outs to manufacturer and site standards Complete pre-start checks and ensure equipment is secure and compliant for operation Accurately record maintenance activities and report defects or hazards Work closely with operators and supervisors to minimise machine downtime Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent) Previous experience working as a HD Fitter in underground mining Current and valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards Experience operating within production-focused underground environments Ability to work effectively within a team and follow mine plans and procedures Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace What Can We Offer You?
