We're looking for a hands-on, practical and motivated Track Manager to take responsibility for the maintenance and presentation of our racecourse, grounds and facilities.
We're interested in people with the right practical skills and know their way around machinery and irrigation.

We also have an opportunity for a Track Maintenance Team Member.
You'll be part of a team responsible for maintaining and presenting our racecourse and facilities to a high standard.
You'll assist the Track Manager achieve these goals.
Experience is highly regarded, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
About the Role - Track Manager
You'll be responsible for overseeing everything to do with the racecourse and grounds maintenance.
This is a practical leadership role where you'll work closely with your team to make sure everything is looking great and running smoothly – especially on race days!
The position includes some weekend and race-day work required throughout the year.
Flexibility around race meetings and key club events is expected.
What You'll Be Doing
Take the lead in preparing and maintaining the racing track and surrounding grounds to ensure optimal conditions for race meetings.
Assist with the preparation,



setup and pack-down of race meetings and other club events.
Manage all aspects of turf care, including irrigation systems, fertilisation, and implementing track renovation programs.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot issues as required and a variety of machinery.
Coordinate general maintenance and repairs across club buildings, facilities, and infrastructure.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with WHS requirements and SafeWork SA regulations.
Supervise, lead and support grounds maintenance team.
·What We're Looking For
Experience in grounds, turf, sports field or racecourse maintenance is highly regarded.
(Qualifications advantageous.)
A great team leader who is safety-focused and enjoys mentoring others.
Robust understanding of WHS practices and relevant regulations.
Passion for racing and pride in presenting a top-quality racing surface.
Track Maintenance Team Member
We're also looking for a Track Maintenance Team Member to join our grounds crew.
This is a hands-on role working alongside the Track Manager to maintain the racing surface, grounds and facilities, as well as assist with race-day preparation and general maintenance.
