What You'll Be Doing
As Workshop Controller, you'll be responsible for ensuring the workshop operates efficiently, safely and profitably.
You'll coordinate technicians, maximise productivity and ensure every customer receives an exceptional level of service.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Planning and controlling the daily workshop scheduleAllocating work effectively to maximise technician productivity and efficiencyMonitoring work in progress to ensure deadlines are achievedLiaising with Service Advisors regarding repair progress and customer updatesEnsuring high standards of workmanship and quality controlSupporting technicians with technical queries where appropriateMonitoring workshop performance, efficiency and utilisationHelping to achieve departmental productivity and profitability targetsEnsuring compliance with manufacturer standards and company processesPromoting a safe, organised and professional working environmentSupporting, coaching and motivating the workshop team
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can lead by example and remains calm under pressure.
Ideally You'll Have:
Previous experience as a Workshop Controller,



Senior Technician or Workshop Supervisor within a franchised dealershipStrong technical understanding of modern vehicle systemsExcellent planning and organisational skillsThe ability to prioritise workload in a busy environmentOutstanding communication and leadership skillsA proactive approach to problem solvingA commitment to delivering excellent customer serviceA full UK driving licence is essential
