The company:
Our client is a well-established residential builder with a strong reputation for delivering quality homes across Western Australia.
With a growing pipeline of work and long-standing relationships with investment partners and building brokers, they're looking to add an organised and proactive Pre-Construction Administrator to their team.
This is a fast-paced role where you'll be working alongside sales, drafting and estimating to ensure projects move seamlessly through to contracts/prestart.
The role:
As the link between external partners and the internal pre-construction team, you'll coordinate projects from deal acceptance through to Contracts & Prestart, ensuring every milestone is achieved on time and stakeholders are kept informed throughout the process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the pre-construction workflow from sales handover through to Contracts & Prestart.
Coordinating sketch requests, costings and deal approvals to keep projects progressing.
Liaising with drafting, estimating, contracts and scheduling teams to ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
Acting as the primary point of contact for investment partners, brokers and other external stakeholders.
Tracking project milestones and proactively following up outstanding information.
Maintaining CRM and internal systems with accurate project information.
Preparing reports, updating trackers and ensuring key deadlines are met.
Identifying potential delays and working collaboratively with the wider team to resolve them before they impact clients.
Your previous experience:
To be successful, you'll ideally have experience within the residential construction industry and understand the pre-construction process.
You'll also bring:
Previous experience in a Client Liaison, Contracts Administration, Shire Administration, Prestart or Project Coordination role.
The ability to interpret building plans, contracts and construction documentation.
Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
High attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using Databuild, HubSpot or similar construction software will be highly regarded.
