Locum Aged Care Manager / Facility Manager Contracts
As an Aged Care Manager / Facility Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of residential aged care services across regional, rural and remote Australia.
These contract opportunities are suited to experienced aged care leaders who can step into a service, support staff, maintain compliance, manage operational priorities and ensure residents continue receiving safe, high-quality care.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the operations of Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF), regional services, remote communities and Multipurpose Services (MPS).
You will work closely with clinical teams, care staff, residents, families, support services and external stakeholders to ensure the service runs safely, efficiently and in line with aged care standards.
Key responsibilities may include:
Managing the daily operations of an aged care facility or residential care service
Leading and supporting multidisciplinary teams across care, hospitality, administration and support services
Overseeing workforce planning, rostering, service delivery and site priorities
Supporting compliance with aged care standards, quality requirements and accreditation expectations
Working closely with clinical leaders to support safe resident care and positive outcomes
Managing stakeholder relationships, including residents, families, staff, external providers and community representatives
Supporting budgets, resources, reporting, risk management and operational performance
Stepping into short-term relief, urgent cover or longer contract placements depending on service needs
These roles are ideal for experienced managers who are confident leading people, managing competing priorities and working across diverse aged care settings.
Benefits
Competitive rates: $87-$107 per hour, depending on experience, current pay grade and role requirements

Position Requirements
To be considered, you will need:
Previous experience as an Aged Care Manager, Facility Manager, Residential Care Manager, Service Manager or similar
Strong understanding of residential aged care operations
Experience leading teams in an aged care or health service environment
Knowledge of aged care quality standards, compliance, risk and accreditation requirements
Ability to work autonomously and manage operational priorities in changing environments
Current police check and relevant Working with Vulnerable People clearances
Willingness to travel for contract or locum placements
A nursing background may be highly regarded, but this is an Aged Care / Facility Manager prospect, not a Clinical Manager position.
