Shape the next generation of doctors as Director of Clinical Training with Darling Downs Health.
Based in Toowoomba, you'll provide leadership, mentorship and education to junior medical officers, helping build a supportive learning culture that strengthens patient care, workforce capability and future medical leaders.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $209,091 (L18) up to $257,924 (L27) comprising salary rates between $****** (L18) and $****** p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, skilled indemnity cover and private practice arrangements.
Superannuation (up to *****%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
This is a permanent part time, 40 hours per fortnight role.
What your day could look like
As Director of Clinical Training, you'll help develop the next generation of doctors while strengthening healthcare outcomes across the region.
Working closely with clinical leaders and junior medical officers, you'll create a supportive learning environment where people can grow, succeed and deliver great care.

Leading high-quality education, supervision and assessment programs
Supporting junior doctors with mentoring, wellbeing and career development
Partnering with clinical teams to enhance training and learning outcomes
Driving improvements that strengthen workforce capability and patient care

You're an experienced clinician who is passionate about education and developing others.
You lead with integrity, communicate with confidence and enjoy helping emerging doctors build their skills and confidence.
You'll be motivated by making a lasting impact on both people and healthcare services.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Specialist registration with AHPRA and a recognised medical qualification
Experience in medical education, supervision and clinical leadership
Strong communication, coaching and relationship-building skills
Knowledge of training, assessment and workforce development practices
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have Fellowship with an Australian specialist medical college and/or qualifications in clinical education.
