Seeking an experienced Cook
Salary - $80,000 + super
Join the team at Bean & Co Project Pty Ltd t/a Kopiku
Bean & Co Project Pty Ltd t/a Kopiku (located at 1/5 Sargood St., O'Connor ACT ****, Australia) are currently looking for a Cook to join their team in a full time role working 38 hours per week.
The successful applicant must hold an AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) plus 1 years of full-time (or part time equivalent) relevant experience.
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
The ideal applicant will also have:

Duties and responsibilities include:
Prepare all food items as directed in a timely manner.
Examine food to ensure high standards and quality of products by checking quality of cooked food, ordered stock,



and food temperature
Implement all health, safety and hygiene practices and procedures
Operate all cooking equipment including regulating temperatures of ovens and grills
Prepare and cook meats, fish, vegetable, sauces, etc.
-Ensure food is appropriately seasoned
Serve food according to appropriate portions, including plating and placing garnishes on the plate
Store food using containers and trays in temperature-controlled facilities
Assist with the cleaning, sanitation and organisation of kitchen, walk-in cool room and storage areas
Prepare food for customers with food allergies or intolerance
Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation.
Always stay productive and prepare for future needs as time allows
Manage junior kitchen staff
Demonstrate to fill open shifts as required by variations in staffing
Through a hands-on approach, maintain and improve standard of product
Assist in training kitchen staff
Restock all items as needed before the shift and after the shift
Report any customer complaints, maintenance of equipment or bad stock to the chef.
A salary of $80,000 + super per year will be offered to the successful candidate.
