About the Job

Fresh Loop is looking for Marketing Interns to join our growing business team for a 3-month startup internship in Wollongong. Fresh Loop is a local food-tech startup on a mission to reduce food waste by connecting cafés, bakeries, restaurants and other food businesses with customers looking to access quality surplus food at more affordable prices.

You will work closely with Fresh Loop’s CEO and leadership team, contribute to real marketing activities and gradually take ownership of projects that directly impact the business. Please note that this is an unpaid internship.

What Role Will You Play?
As a Marketing Intern, you will help build Fresh Loop’s brand and grow our local customer community. Your responsibilities may include:• Writing and creating content for Linked In, Facebook and Instagram• Managing social media pages and reviewing basic analytics• Creating visual content and marketing materials using Canva or similar tools• Conducting customer, market and competitor research• Supporting email marketing activities• Developing ideas for customer acquisition and community engagement• Supporting local campaigns, partnerships and events• Gradually taking ownership of selected marketing campaigns after the first month
What You Offer

- Currently studying at university• Ideally in the second or final year of a bachelor’s degree• Studying Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline is preferred• Genuine interest in startups, entrepreneurship and marketing• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Creative mindset and willingness to contribute new ideas• Willingness to learn, receive feedback and continuously improve• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team• Reliable, organised and able to take ownership of responsibilities• Able to commit approximately 6–10 hours per week for three months• Experience with social media, Canva, content creation or marketing projects is valuable but not required
