Overview

Are you ready to contribute to the delivery of large scale electrical infrastructure projects across the energy sector? We are seeking experienced Electrical Estimators / Bid Coordinators to express interest in upcoming opportunities working on HV substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the end-to-end tendering process for high value energy infrastructure projects
- Prepare detailed first principles cost estimates, BOQs, and RFQs to support bids
- Review and manage subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure alignment with scope and budgets
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial consistency in bids
- Maintain bid documentation, assumptions, risk registers, and approval workflows
- Conduct site visits to gather project specific data for accurate cost modeling
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities to optimise bid outcomes
- Support continuous improvement of bid and estimating processes





About You / Qualifications

- Proven experience in estimating and coordinating bids for HV substations, switching stations, BESS, and transmission line projects
- Expertise in first principles estimating, BOQs, RFQs, and tendering processes
- Robust understanding of construction methods, materials, and electrical systems for energy projects
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and time management skills
- A degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification, or proven experience as an HV Field Electrician / Project Engineer with estimating exposure
- Proficiency in estimating software
