MW Law is a family-run boutique law firm with a proud history spanning back to the 1960's and incorporated in it's current form in 2005.

Based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, MW Law provides legal services across a broad range of practice areas, including Property Law / Conveyancing, Will and Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration, Part IV Claims, and Commercial Law.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a competent, personable and passionate lawyer with at least three (3) years' post qualification experience (PQE) or a suitably experienced Law Clerk to join our team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across a varied and interesting caseload while providing clients with practical, high quality legal services .

In this role there is an emphasis on Property Law ( Conveyancing) ,Wills, Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration and potentially Family Law.

This position is suited to someone who is professional, punctual, client-focused and confident working both autonomously and as part of a supportive team.

About You

A successful candidate will have:

- Current Australian Legal Practicing Certificate;
- Valid Victorian Drivers License;
- Minimum three (3) years experience (PQE) as a lawyer;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- A professional, approachable and client-focused manner;




- Excellent attention to detail and file management skills;
- The ability to manage matters independently, while also working collaboratively within the team;
- A punctual, reliable and proactive approach to work;
- A genuine interest in delivering high-quality outcomes for clients; and
- Experience using LEAP and PEXA.

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:

- Property Law and Conveyancing ( which is an essential part of this role);
- Probate and Estate Administration, Estate Planning ( which is desirable but not essential) . A willingness to learn in this rapidly developing area will also be favourably considered; and
- Family Law.
