We're partnering with a leading Australian University to recruit experienced Business Analysts across three major enterprise transformation programs. These projects are all at the early stages of delivery, offering the prospect to influence solution design, shape future-state business processes and work on strategic, high-profile initiatives. With significant funding already secured, all three projects have a strong likelihood of extension beyond the initial contract.
All Roles
- Higher Education experience is a must across all roles.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills are essential.
- Experience working across Agile and enterprise transformation environments.
- Hybrid working model (3 days onsite in Sydney CBD).
- Candidates must be based in NSW.
- Need to be avaiklable to start in August 2026.
Opportunity 1 - Senior Business Analyst | Curriculum Management Systems
Initial Contract: ASAP - 18 December 2026 (large program expected to run for for another 12-18 months)
Rate: Up to $950 per day + Super
This is a key role within a major enterprise transformation program focused on modernising curriculum management capabilities. An experienced Lead BA is already in place, and an additional Senior BA is required to support delivery as the project progresses through procurement and solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a large enterprise Curriculum Management transformation
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements
- Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Work closely with the Lead BA throughout the RFT and solution design phases
- Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts and process documentation
Essential Experience
- Previous Higher Education experience
- Experience delivering Curriculum Management projects or Student Systems transformations
- Exposure to Curriculum Management platforms is highly desirable
- Ability to quickly contribute without extensive onboarding
- This is a long-term initiative with significant work planned beyond the initial contract.
Opportunity 2 - Lead Business Analyst | Unit of Study Coordinator Experience Program
Contract: Initial 6 months (strong likliehood of extension)
Rate: Up to $1,000 per day + Super
This is a Lead BA opportunity sitting between Product Ownership and Business Analysis within an Agile delivery environment. The role will drive backlog management, coordinate delivery activities and ensure multiple delivery teams remain aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead backlog refinement and user story development
- Elaborate epics into detailed requirements
- Coordinate delivery across UX, CX, Front-End Development and ICT teams
- Work closely with the Project Manager and delivery leads
- Ensure features are delivered in line with business priorities
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
Essential Experience
- Higher Education experience
- Strong Digital or UX Business Analysis background
- Experience working as a Lead BA or Product Owner
- Excellent Jira experience
- Strong Agile delivery experience
- Able to communicate confidently with both business and technical stakeholders
- Experience leading multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams is highly regarded.
Opportunity 3 - Senior Business Analyst | Modern Student Admissions
Contract: Initially 12 months
Rate: Up to $950 per day + Super
Join a major Student Admissions transformation focused on implementing and configuring a new vendor solution. This role will partner closely with both the implementation vendor and internal stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the implementation vendor to configure the admissions platform
- Capture and validate business requirements
- Coordinate stakeholders across business and technical teams
- Ensure configured solutions align with admissions processes
- Support business process improvement and solution design
- Partner with the Technical BA throughout delivery
Essential Experience
- Higher Education experience
- Experience with StudyLink or a comparable Student Admissions platform
- Vendor implementation experience
- Strong stakeholder management and business process skills
- Technical understanding advantageous, but not essential
